Although Hucster is primarily a covers band, their original material has been played on several independent radio stations across Australia. Hucster was formed by seasoned muso’s Huc, Paul, and Terry in late 2012. ?While only a 3-piece band, they sound much bigger and have an edgy/contemporary style of blues rock. The band have just finished an album of their own material, but also do covers, preferring the catchy tunes that have not been thrashed to death by other bands. They also like to put their own stamp on many of the covers which keeps it fresh for them and the crowd. It’s not just a matter of adding all the ingredients into the pot and hoping for the best.
