iA Writer is a digital writing tool that makes sure that all your thoughts go into the text instead of the program. Here is what makes iA Writer different:

Character: No preferences. It is how it is. It works like it works. Love it or hate it.
Signal vs Noise: Focus mode allows me to think, spell, and write one sentence at a time.
Speed: Writer works without mouse. Automarkdown formats semantic entities such as headlines, lists, bold, strong, block quotes written in markdown.

- Switched to standard document application model where all windows are the same.
Improved new document shortcuts.
- ⌘N creates a new document window which will be automatically saved to Library.
- ⇧⌘N replaces the current window with a new document which will be automatically saved to Library.
- ⌥⌘N creates a new document which, when closed, will ask you where it should be saved.
- You can change these shortcuts in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts.
- Increased default and large text sizes.
- Added sentence navigation shortcuts: ⌥⌘← and ⌥⌘→.
- Empty folders can be created and are shown in Library.
- Added a unique title for search results in library.
- Added new methods to move items out of a folder.

FIXES
- Fixed an issue where extension was hidden when documents were saved. The extension visibility preference is now used.
- Fixed an issue where Dropbox documents could be closed after being created.

- Prevented footnote return character from being rendered as emoji on some devices.
Various smaller bug fixes
