Korn is an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1992.
The group currently consists of Brian "Head" Welch and James "Munky" Shaffer on guitar, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu on bass, Jonathan Davis on vocals and Ray Luzier on drums.
Korn was originally formed by three members of LAPD The band released its first demo Neidermeyer's Mind, in 1993. Their first Korn album was released in October 1994.
The band began recording Life Is Peachy in April 1996 and released Follow the Leader Korn that allows to break into the mainstream, he led the Billboard 200 in August 1998 with the album Issues, in November 1999.
The band released Untouchables in June 2002 and Take a Look in the Mirror in November 2003.
