Riffs are arranged with bass and drum backing tracks. Many riffs are from the previous edition but have been extended. Theory is discussed and explained. Still, if you just want to skip it for now and play the riffs you can always come back for it later! This material is appropriate for advanced beginners and intermediate level players.

Metal Riffology originally began as a CD-ROM which taught 97 riffs and quickly became a favorite resource for metal guitarists worldwide. Later it was revised and produced as a two-DVD video package for Metal Method. It was well received by fans of the original program and found a new audience. When Metal Method videos changed to high-definition wide-screen format and Metal Riffology needed to be updated we saw this as an opportunity to revise and expand the program into this current edition.
