Merry-Go-Round Not long after these Ronnie Montrose Started The band Gamma which was a less Hard Rock to an 80's kind of sound they released 4 albums from 1979 -82 after that....... Ronnie Montrose resumed solo activities, releasing a series of instrumental albums with little success, before reforming Montrose in 1987 with a new lineup. He committed suicide on March 3, 2012.
