For a 1080 version, go get kot5nik279 's version, his settings are the same as me as we shared our fine tuning.
I have a 720 version here

I uploaded a HEVC version because no one seamed to give x265 a shot for ponies, I like small files and audio/video quality is very important for me.

I am not a real time uploader, I just encoded the whole season to help people save bandwidth!

The encoder versions are:
libx265 1.9
libopus 1.1.2
Encoded with ffmpeg with those options (the relevant ones):
-vf scale=854:480 -sws_flags lanczos -c:v libx265 -x265-params crf=23.5 -preset slower -c:a libopus

It was down scaled from 1080 to 480 using the non default lanczos for extra sharpness. x265's default crf 28 is not good enough, there even is a noticeable difference between 25 and 24, 23.5 is quite good for MLP!

Opus is a new audio codec used for example by Youtube, that is sounds good at 96kbps, so I used 96kbps for the 480 version, and I am very sensitive to audio quality.
