Basically, this is End Of Evangelion re-edited to more closely resemble the episodic format of NGE. First appeared on home video, along with the original episodes 25 & 26, over two volumes on VHS and Laserdisc in mid-to-late 1998 and on a single DVD in early 1999. Was omitted from the remastered Renewal dvds, but turned up as a bonus feature on the Blu-Ray box released in 2015.*

All shots unique to the video versions are unfortunately upscaled from the pre-renewal DVD; this is especially noticeable with the separate end credits for each episode, which were interlaced. The rest of the movie is exactly the same as the other two versions of End Of Evangelion on the Blu Ray box, except for one shot which was digitally altered to match the video version.

720p 10-bit, Japanese stereo aac, contains two English subtitle tracks per episode.

*The first pressing of the BD Box contained an error regarding the english title cards; they were the film versions (EoE) instead of the video versions (NGE). This was fixed with the second pressing, which this is sourced from.
