H G Nelson presents this video in which four people who have overcome serious gambling problems talk about thow their problem started and the effect that it had on their lives. These people describe exactly what they did to enable them to overcome their compulsive gambling. H G interviews gambling treatment professionals who have particular experience with gambling on poker machines, blackjack and horse races. The video was produced in consulatation with Professor Alex Blaszczynski and Dr Michael Walker of the Department of Psychology, the University of Sydney, both of whom are experts in the treatement of problem gambling. The video also gives information for the family and friends of compulsive gamblers.
