Pimsleur Spanish 5 (Spanish V) (2014)

This is Level 5 of Pimsleur's Spanish, released in November 2014

This level follows on from and builds on what was learnt in Spanish 4 and the previous levels. It teaches Latin American Spanish.

All 30 of the main lessons + all 20 reading lessons + a PDF copy of the reading booklet are included.

Notes on the format

All of the audio is in a single M4B audiobook file. This is the same format as the source in order to avoid transcoding and quality loss. If you need MP3s or another format, you can do your own conversion.

Each unit/lesson has it's own labelled chapter. In order to view these chapters you need a media player which has audiobook chapter support.

On PC/Mac:

• iTunes is highly recommended. You can easily view and select chapters using the "Chapters" menu.
  
• VLC works but might be a little laggy. You can view and select chapters by going to "Playback > Chapter".
  
• Windows Media Player 12 plays the file but doesn't have chapter support.
  

On Android:

• You will probably need an app like Smart AudioBook Player or Akimbo Audiobook Player
  

On iOS:

• The default Music app should play the file, but Apple reportedly removed the ability to select chapters in the latest versions of iOS.
  
• Apparently the Audible app will play M4B files as long as they're in your iTunes/Music library, and it has chapter controls.
  
• Some older iOS devices reportedly have problems playing very long audio files due to a bug. Let me know in the comments if you run into this issue.
