Supertramp-Crime of the Century (MFSL LP)

Transcribed using a Lyra Helikon SL cartridge into a $15,000 custom built all-tube phono stage. All electronics were fed clean balanced power via a 300 lb Equitech wall transformer. The turntable was also placed on a Sonority isolation platform.

This MFSL LP was one of the early examples, which I purchased in 1978. It has to regular font saying 'HALF SPEED REMASTERED' instead of the digital calculator-type font. As such I believe it did not have extreme overequalization that later releases did (the '10 at 10', i.e. 10dB boost at 10kHz).

I have the A&M CD as well as the MFSL Ultradisk CD for comparison, and this is the version I go back to, vinyl noise and all.
