Plot Summary :

15-years-old Takao Akizuki, who is training to become a shoemaker, skipped school and is sketching shoes in a Japanese-style garden. He meets a mysterious 27-years-old woman, Yukari Yukino, who spends her time drinking beer and eating chocolate. Then, without arranging the times, the two start to see each other again and again, but only on rainy days. They deepen their relationship and open up to each other, although they never exchanges their names. When the summer months came, the days go by without them meeting in the garden. One afternoon when Takao is at school, he is walking with two of his friends and Takao realizes that Yukino is actually a teacher at his high-school as she walks by. Takao's his friends told him that Yukino was quitting her job after some students spread nasty rumors about her. Takao confronted the girl who started the rumors, Aizawa, and slapped her across the face, lending him into a fight with her friends.
