The Goodies...at last Vol 2 DVDRip 576p 2ch x265 [S-Less]
Eight more classic episodes of the anarchic British comedy series, starring Bill Oddie, Graeme Garden and Tim Brooke-Taylor. In these episodes the gang open their own pirate radio station, go prospecting for gold, and become punk rockers.
Episode. 1 Radio Goodies
The Goodies, after being rejected from having their own legal radio station because their submission was too late, decide to start their own pirate radio station outside the five mile limit. They then start a pirate post office using various methods of delivering mail. The power unfortunately goes to Graeme's head and he becomes a megalomaniac, trying to tow the whole of Britain outside the five mile limit to create a "pirate state". Thankfully, he sinks his submarine by accident and is forced to give the whole thing up.
Episode 2. Come Dancing
The Goodies watch a ballroom dancing championship, when a number of competitors collapse and are later found to have been involved a doping scandal. The phone rings, it is Penelope Fay. She explains there has been a rash of issues with the Fay dancing team, and the Capone dancing team is behind it. She is convinced you can't beat the syndicates. The Goodies agree till she offers to pay them.
Episode 3. The Movies (with Goodies commentary on 2nd audio track)
After complaining about the decline of the British film industry, the trio purchase Pinetree Studios (for £25) in the hope of making some good films. They then fire all the directors, whom they consider to be making films which are either "very boring or extremely pretentious" and decide to make a film themselves. Their attempt to remake Macbeth with less violence and more family interest is a complete failure, and leads to the three Goodies falling out with each other and attempting to make their own films, separately.
Episode 4. South Africa (with Goodies commentary on 2nd audio track)
The Goodies are hired by a maniacally racist South African Tourist Agent to make an advertisement encouraging Britons to come to South Africa. However, the tourist agent is unhappy with what they have done, since they showed black people in South Africa having a good time. Tim points out that South Africa has many black people, but the Tourist Agent retorts that they are not having a good time. The enraged agent forces the Goodies to emigrate to South Africa.
Episode 5. Bunfight at the OK Tearooms
The Goodies are broke, so they go out prospecting and find a cream mine. But Graeme gets greedy and wants all the cream to himself, leading to a tomato ketchup stained showdown between the three of them at the O.K. Tearooms.
Episode 6. The End (with Goodies commentary on 2nd audio track)
In this sort of "alternate universe" story, Grame agrees to help the government on a new construction project. But the boys' office gets covered in a thick layer of concrete and they cannot get out. The rest of the episode details over 100 years as the boys struggle with loneliness, religion, personality clashes, hunger, and aging without any contact with the outside world.
Episode 7. Scoutrageous
Tim and several former scouts still meet in secret in a hut at night even though they are too old to be allowed to participate in normal troops anymore. Graeme and Bill join with them, but only to use their new scout uniforms as part of their disguises - which fool even Tim - while they go on an unstoppable crime spree. It becomes so bad the government makes being a scout illegal. Tim's troop is arrested with the rest, and when he has served his sentence he decides to revenge himself upon the mysterious "Masked Scouts" using all the help he can muster.
Episode 8. Punky Business
The Goodies have become a rock band called "The Little Laddies", and sing 'on the road', where they are ignored by the general public. However, they are picked up off the street by policemen, who put them to work. Soon tiring of performing for the police, the Goodies discover that punk is the latest fad. Bill and Graeme decide to go punk — but Tim prefers to keep his neat and tidy image and his shiny shoes.
