Hailing from Memphis TN, Throne blends styles of 90's death and black metal with modern progressive and extreme metal influences. Creating a unique style of heavy intellectual guitar work, ambient yet melodic keyboard arrangements, rhythmically complex bass and drum work, and vocals that offer the listener a brutal in your face experience. Throne brings an original yet powerful sound to the extreme metal music scene.

Formed in 2009 by Cody Black (Vocals/Guitar), Tommy Arnold (Bass), Brandon McDuffie (Drums), Kyle Rowe (Keyboards) and Jack Lenhart (Guitars). Coming from backgrounds of multi-genre musical study, teaching and countless days of live gigging and studio session experience. The band played around the memphis tri-state area for several years before entering the studio to record their debut album. While in the studio the band gained an impressive roster of dates as a local opening act for many heavy hitters in the metal genre. Since 2009 Throne has played with headlining acts such as Behemoth, Trivium, All That Remains, Devil Driver, God Forbid, Goatwhore, Napalm Death and the Acacia Strain just to name a few.
