"Trouble in the Glen" was made from a book of the same name by Maurice Walsh. Walsh is better known for the "The Quiet Man".
Though this movie lacks the charm of "The Quiet Man" and John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara it has its moments.

Set in the Scottish Highlands. A bumbling new Laird with a spunky daughter. A disagreement between the Laird and the people of the glen.
Troublesome tinkers and a visiting American.

It works out in the end.
