uTorrent ipfilter.dat blocklist_New Update 13.04.2015_drkrz

IP-Filter.dat is a file which contains IP-ranges of anti-peer2-peer organizations, corrupted data senders, hackers, reserved IP-range lists etc. The ipfilter.dat file helps protect your privacy and security when using µTorrent, by blocking a list of potentially malicious peers. I cannot guarantee 100% protection, but any protection is better than none.

The Lists include:
1. Block lists compiled by I-Blocklist
2. Bogons, bogus IP lists by CIDR reports
3. Fake servers lists, created by eMule Security
4. New Pedophiles block lists added

Total 1130012 entries (100mb)

Setup instructions for ipfilter.dat in Windows:
In Windows, go to "users/your user name/application data/utorrent" directory.
Copy the ipfilter.dat to the uTorrent directory.

Setup ipfilter.dat in uTorrent:
Start uTorrent and using PC keyboard, select Ctrl +P.
The preferences menu box opens, you then select "advance/ipfilter.enable and change value. If it is on "true", change value to "false", then "true". Select "OK" button and wait for Preferences menu to exit.

Final Check:
In uTorrent go to the lower information's toolbar and select "logger".
You should see "[date] Loaded ipfilter.dat (1130012 entries)".
Your ipfilter.dat file is now protecting your privacy and security

NB. If ipfilter.dat fails to show, then close uTorrent, and open it back up.
Again, disable ipfilter.enable and re-enable and recheck.
